Gecen Cumartesi gunu sonunda Mayis ayinda gorkemli partiyle acilan Metropolitan Sanat Muzesindeki, ‘Ilham Kaynagi olarak Modell, Modayi Sekillendiriyor’ sergisine gidebildim. Herkes serginin gorkemli acilisini biliyor ama asil konusulmasi gereken en az acilisi kadar ihtisamli olan serginin kendisi. Acikcasi sergiden tahminimden daha fazla zevk aldim. Iceride fotograf cekmek yasak oldugundan, tum resimleri ancak cep telefonumdan gizli gizli cekebildim. O yuzden simdilik resimleri sadece kendime sakliyorum. Sergi kronolojik olarak modellerin, moda dunyasina katkilarini gosteriyor. Beni en cok etkileyen ise moda fotografciligi ve eski dergi kapaklari oldu.

Last Saturday, I finally went to the Model as Muse exhibit at the Met, and it definitely lived up to expectations. The exhibit chronicled the models throughout the years and their effect on fashion. I especially liked the old fashion magazine covers, and seeing how they have evolved throughout the years. Everyone knows about the glamorous opening event of the exhibition but exhibition itself is really worth to talk about. Since photography is not allowed, I could only took few pictures from my phone but since they are not that great I don’t want to ruin the experience for you and decided not to post them.· Vogue, ilk defa 1892 yilinda haftalik olarak yayinlanmaya basladi.
